Removal of tattoos, permanent make-up with the new, fastest and EASIEST in Lithuania – the US picosecond PICOWAY laser!
Fast procedure and visible results!
Removing and removing COLORED tattoos
A tattoo is the insertion of an exogenous pigment into the skin. If you were once determined to decorate your body in this way, but no longer wish to do so today, we offer the most effective method of tattoo removal – laser.
The “PicoWay” is the newest and most advanced laser on the market from the American “Candela Medical”company, for removing tattoos and permanent make-up WITHOUT scars.
PICOWAY is the only picosecond laser in Lithuania, the fastest laser in the US from Candela Medical, with 3 wavelengths in the picosecond range (1064 nm /532 nm /785 nm).
The “PicoWay” laser is the very latest generation of technology. “Piko” is the fastest (1,000,000,000 or billionth of a second) operating wave ever invented,1,000 times faster than the fastest nano-wave in the world, is one of the most effective lasers for tattoo removal. It breaks down the color and the pigments then leave the body through natural processes. The laser is very precise and only affects the pigment itself, so the skin is not damaged.
ADVANTAGES of tattoo removal and permanent make-up removal with the PICOWAY picosecond laser:
- Removes unwanted tattoos of any type and color;
- Suitable for all skin types (from lightest to darkest);
- Colorful and hard-to-remove tattoos are no longer a problem;
- It even works on tattoos that have previously been unsuccessfully treated with conventional lasers, known as Q lasers;
- The changes and improved results are seen with fewer treatments than with other lasers on the market;
- Shorter treatment intervals of 3-4 weeks (up to 8 weeks with other lasers);
- Shorter procedure time;
- Less painful procedure, faster turnaround time;
- Faster skin healing time;
- An earring can be inserted at the tattoo site (if required) 6-8 weeks after the first “PicoWay treatment.
Removing tattoos and permanent make-up with PICOWAY – masking and pigments!
There are different types of lasers used to remove tattoos. The breakthrough in picosecond technology has been achieved through continuous development and research in the laser industry. Picosecond lasers, as the name suggests, operate in picoseconds. This means much shorter pulses of energy are emitted than with other laser systems. Energy pulses of 300 to 450 ps provide faster and more efficient results by breaking down the color pigments into much smaller pieces.
The color pigments are broken down into small particles by the laser, which are removed by the body’s own lymphatic system.
PICOWAY is the only picosecond laser on the market with 3 wavelengths in the picosecond range. The wavelengths are such (1 064 nm / 532 nm / 785 nm) that all colors can be removed, even the very difficult ones, for example green, blue, yellow, brown or orange can be perfectly processed with this new PICOWAY laser!
PICOWAY laser wavelengths and which colors they remove
1 064: purple, brown, black, yellow
532: red, orange, brown
785: green, blue
Removal of tattoos and permanent make-up, how many PICOWAY treatments are needed?
The effectiveness of the procedure depends on many factors such as the color, age, position, depth, size and type of tattoo.
Due to the more effective tattoo removal and shorter intervals between treatments (as the skin regenerates quickly), with the PICOWAY laser in particular – the tattoo removal time is twice as short compared to other conventional lasers, tattoo removal systems and permanent make-up removal systems. The number of treatments required will be specified by the specialist during your visit.
For permanent make-up removal, 2-6 treatments are usually required. The intervals between treatments are 4-5 weeks.
How does PicoWay work and is the procedure painful?
This innovative picosecond technology breaks down a tattoo into tiny particles in a trillionth of a second, which are the removed through the body’s natural processes.
Color pigments are destroyed by photoacoustic reactions. These pulses are so short that almost no heat is released. The procedure is therefore comfortable and side effects are minimized. In case of hypersensitivity, we recommend a 30-minute anesthetic before the procedure.
What should I do after the PICOWAY procedure?
Immediately after the procedure, a cooling pillow is applied to soothe the area affected by the laser. In the first few days, care should be taken to avoid friction in the treated area, and skin should not be exfoliated.
Is it safe to remove a tattoo with the PicoWay laser?
The PicoWay laser works only on the pigment, in this case the tattooed area, so the surrounding skin is not damaged during the procedure. It also generates much less heat than conventional lasers, as PicoWay produces a photoacoustic effect in picoseconds rather than a thermal effect. This ensures the safety of the procedure and minimizes side effects. After the treatment, the skin may become discolored or red around the affected area. Some patients may also experience a temporary lightening of the skin. However, after a while, things return to normal.
The picosecond fractional laser pulse does not damage the skin tissues and keeps the surrounding skin cells intact, which is very important – the procedure is effective and safe!
