To remove dilated leg veins, the laser applicator emits pulses targeting the vascular walls, heating and collapsing them. As a result, the veins disappear from the skin’s surface. Typically, 1-3 procedures are recommended every 8 weeks.
The area must be clean 24 hours before the procedure, avoid using cosmetics. Do not tattoo or spray self-tanning products for weeks prior. Avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks and do not take blood-thinning medications 7 days prior without doctor approval.
The doctor selects the laser type and parameters, performs a test pulse. A slight tingling is felt during the procedure; the integrated cooling system reduces discomfort. The session lasts from several to a few dozen minutes, depending on the area.
Temporary redness or slight swelling may occur and usually subsides within a few days. Avoid sauna, pool, and strong sun exposure for at least 1-2 weeks. Use recommended soothing creams and regularly protect the skin from UV rays.
